Antique Animal Motifs

Motives from the animal world are very popular in antique jewellery.

Every epoch had its preferential motives. Whether the snake in the Victorian or the cicada in the art nouveau– the efforts of the jewellery creators were always directed to bring a very lifelike liveliness into the representations.
